Max Charles Prebil was born on December 23rd 1926 to Louis & Mary Rus [Znidarsich] Prebil in Chisholm, Minnesota.
Mr. Previl entered the U.S. Navy on March 9th 1945. He served aboard the USS La Vallette (DD-408) and the USS Rooks (DD-804). He rose to the rank of Fireman 1st Class. (F1c).
He was honorably discharged on May 10th 1946, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After the war he returned home and married Shirley Helen [Peterson] on November 13th 1948 and they started a family
Mr. Prebil died tragically on September 20th 1955 at the age of 28 years. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Chisholm.
