HESKI, Martin Thomas

Martin Thomas Heski was born on March 1st 1920 to Martin & Mary [Stajmunger] Heski in Duluth, Minnesota.

Mr. Heski entered the U.S. Army Air Corps on November 2nd 1941 in the midst of WWII.

He served as a dental technician in Squadron F of the 591st Army Air Forces Base Unit, iHe rose to the rank of Corporal (CPL).

CPL Heski earned the following merits for his service:

  • American Campaign Medal,
  • American Defense Service Medal,  -and-
  • World War II Victory Medal.

 

He was honorably discharged December 11th 1945 at Scott Field, Illinois.

Mr. Heski died on anuary 10th 2005 at 84 years of age in Duluth. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Superior, Wisconsin.
