Martin H. Toivola

Martin H. Toivola was inducted into the Army Air Corps on March 22, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Cook, Minnesota.

Mr. Toivola served as a Corporal and heavy automotive equipment operator with Squadron B of the 4135th Army Air Forces Base Unit in the Pacific Theater.

He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.

Mr. Toivola was honorably discharged on October 16, 1945, in Sioux Falls Air Force Base, South Dakota.
