Marcella (nee Simonich) F. Nickovich

Marcella F. Nickovich (nee Simonich) enlisted in the Women's Army Corps (WAC) on May 16, 1944. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

She served as a Corporal and clerk typist with the 561st Army Air Forces Base Unit in the continental U.S.

Mrs. Nickovich was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.

She was honorably discharged December1, 1945, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
