VALENTINI, Marbello Richard
Marbello Robert Valentine was born February 27th 1915 in Chisholm, Minnesota to Alphonse & Colomba [Santoni] Valentini.
Mr. Valentini enlisted in the Army Air Corps on January 14th 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.
He served as a Corporal, radio repairman, and mechanic with Headquarters Company at the Greenland Base Command in the European Theater.
He was awarded the following:
- Good Conduct Medal,
- European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal,
- World War II Victory Medal, -and-
- one overseas service bar.
CPL Valentini was honorably discharged on January 16th 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin. After the war he married Mildred A. Novakovich in 1951.
