Lyle T. Scott

Lyle T. Scott was inducted into the Army on September 15, 1944 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and truck driver with Company M of the 307th Infantry Regiment in the Ryukyu Islands.

He was awarded the following: Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Japan), three overseas service bars, and Philippine Liberation Medal.

He was honorably discharged on November 20, 1946 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
