Lydia Tomasoni was born on December 24th 1911 to Egisto & Marrietta [Gambucci] Tomasoni in Hibbing, Minnesota.
Ms. Tomasoni enlisted in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps on March 14th 1945. She was admitted on April 17th 1945. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.
She was commissioned Second Lieutenant and served as a registered nurse during WWII from the University of Minnesota program.
Ms. Tomasoni was honorably discharged from active duty on September 22nd 1948. After the war she returned home to Hibbing.
Ms. Tomasoni died on November 29th 1993 at 81 years of age. She is buried at North Hibbing Cemetery in Hibbing.
