Ludwig Frank Urick was born on October 4th 1914 to Anton & Ursula Urick in Biwabik, Minnesota.
Mr. Urick was inducted into the Army Air Corps on June 24, 1941, in San Francisco, California. Home at entry: Biwabik, Minnesota.
Mr. Urick graduated from Officers Candidate School and was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant on August 4th 1942. He served as a flexible gunnery officer with the 423rd Army Air Forces Base Unit in the continental U.S.
LT Urick was awarded the following: American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged on January 2nd 1946, in Portland, Oregon.
Mr. Urick died on April 14th 1990 at age 75. He is buried at Lakeside Cemetery in his hometown of Biwabk, Minnesota.
