Lowell E. Wilson

Lowell E. Wilson entered the Marine Corps in June of 1945.
He served as a Private First Class and security guard with the 3rd Guard Company, US Naval Magazine Depot, in Panama and Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida.
He attended basic training at Parris Island, South Carolina. Protected twenty one mile area of underground bunkers at the ammunition depot in the Canal Zone for two years. When stationed in Florida, he got to know a Lieutenant named James Whitmore, who went to New York and became an actor "nice guy."
Mr. Wilson was discharged in June of 1949.
