Louis J. Gregorich of Eveleth, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on May 30, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn .

He served as a Staff Sergeant and scout with the 81st Infantry Division in the Philippines.

Mr. Gregorich was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged Jan. 9, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
