Lionel R. “Pete” Conklin

He joined the Army in 1942 and served three and one half years in the Philippine Islands and Japan.

Mr. Conklin was born on May 19, 1921 in Little Rock, Iowa.

He was born to Auris and Anna Mae Conklin.

He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1939. After the service in the Army he attended UMD and graduated from the Skill Center.

Mr. Conklin died on September 26, 2007 in St. Mary’s Medical Center.
