Lino M. Sartori

Lino M. Sartori entered the Army on October 7, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Buhl, Minnesota.

He served as a Staff Sergeant and platoon leader with Battery A of the 255th Field Artillery Battalion at Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.

He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Arrowhead, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on December 8, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
