Lester F. LaBeau

Lester F. LaBeau of Virginia, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 10, 1941 at Fort Snelling, Minn. 

He was a Staff Sergeant and a platoon sergeant in Algeria, French Morocco, Tunisia and Italy (Naples-Foggia and Rome-Arno.)

Mr. LaBeau received the: Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on September 4, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
