Mr. Anderson entered the Navy on September 24, 1943.

He attended aviation gunnery training in Jacksonville, Florida.

He served as an Aviation Electronic Technician Third Class servicing radio and radar equipment aboard PBY and PBM aircraft seeking enemy submarines activity along the East Coast.

He was separated on April. 24, 1946.
