Leonard W. Gish was inducted into the Army on February 14, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He served as a Private First Class and truck driver with Company A of the 51st Armored Infantry Battalion of the 4th Armored Div., in Central Europe.
Mr. Gish was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged Mar. 2, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
