Leo Kochevar

Leo Kochevar enlisted in the Marine Corps on October 18, 1940 at Minneapolis, Minn. 

He was a Gunnery Sergeant and served in the Pacific Theater and European Theater (Iceland area). He also participated in the Guam and Marianna Islands campaigns in the Pacific.

Mr.  Kochevar was awarded the: American Defense Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on September 30, 1945 at Camp Perry, Virg.
