ROSENQUIST, Lawrence Carl
Lawrence Carl Rosenquist was born on January 8th 1921 in Duluth, Minnesota. He attended Denfeld High School.
Mr. Rosenquist was inducted into the U.S. Army Air Corps on March 12th 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
He served as an electrician with the 565th Army Air Forces Base Unit during WWII. He rose to the rank of Sergeant (SGT).
SGT Rosenquist earned the following merits for his service:
- Good Conduct Medal,
- American Campaign Medal, -and-
- World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged on December 4th 1945, at McClellan Field, California. After the war he returned home and married Dorothy Ann [Pogorelec] in Duluth on October 30, 1948 and they started a family.
Mr. Rosenquist died on July 30th 1996 at 75 years of age in Eveleth, Minnesota. He is buried at Eveleth Cemetery.
