Laurie E. Palo

Laurie E. Palo was inducted into the Army on June 13, 1942.

He was a Technician 5th Grade and a truck driver with Troop B, 85th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron: serving in northern France, the Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.

Mr. Palo received the: Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Oct. 21, 1945.
