Kenneth I. Maki of Leonidas, Minn. was inducted into the Army on April 17, 1945.
He was a Technician 5th Grade and truck driver with the 693rd Quartermaster Truck Company in the Pacific. He re-enlisted in the regular Army on Jan. 25, 1946, in Japan.
Mr. Maki was awarded the: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged on July 28, 1948 at Fort Riley, Kan.
