Kenneth A. Ekquist

Kenneth A. Ekquist enlisted in the Naval Reserve September 11, 1942. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minn.

He served as a Metalsmith 1st Class aboard the USS Askari and at continental U.S. stations.

Mr. Ekquist was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged December 10, 1945, Minneapolis, Minn.
