Kenneth “Chick” Hendrickson served in World War II, as well as in the Korean War and Vietnam War.
He joined the U.S. Marine Corps on June 14,1946. He was assigned to the 1st Marine Air Wing. He served in Aviation Ordnance.
He served in the Korean War beginning on June 25, 1950 and served in the Vietnam War beginning on November 15, 1967.
He retired from the Marine Corps in 1969. His rank was Captain.
Mr. Hendrickson was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal.
He was born in 1928 to Lyder and Anna Hendrickson in Cloquet, Minnesota. He graduated from Cloquet High School in 1946.
