Joseph A. Sokoloski

Joseph A. Sokoloski was inducted into the Army on September 30, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Eveleth, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fifth Grade and cook with Headquarters Battery of the 113th Field Artillery Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe.

He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

Mr. Sokoloski was honorably discharged on October 26, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
