Joseph Ronchak served in World War II in the Pacific Theater.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces from January 10, 1944, until August 20, 1946. He was assigned to the 1st Reconnaissance Squadron (Very Long Range, Photographic).

He was decorated with five medals for his service. His rank was Staff Sergeant.

Mr. Ronchak was born in 1926 to Joseph J. and Mary E. Ronchak in Superior, Wisconsin. He graduated from high school in 1944.
