Joseph P. Witzman was born December 15, 1916, in Greenbrush, Minnesota, to Nicholas and Johanna Witzman.
He served in the Army in Europe during World War II and received a Purple Heart.
He had worked at Diamond Tool and Horseshoe for several years and went on to work as a painter and sheet-rocker.
Joe was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, International Painters and Allied Trades Union, All American Club and VFW Post 137.
He died Dec. 28, 2002.
