Joseph P. Steblay

Joseph P. Steblay was inducted into the Army on July 21, 1944. Home at entry: Biwabik, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal with Company A of the 55th Armored Infantry of the 11th Armored Battalion in Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Steblay was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and one overseas service bar.

He was honorably discharged on March 5, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
