THEODORE, Joseph Owen
Joseph Owen Theodore was born on July 6th 1911 to James & Helen [Radakovich] Theodore in Keewatin, Minnesota.
Mr. Theodore entered in the Army on March 28th 1941. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.
He served as a First Sergeant responsible for operation of anti-aircraft, coast artillery, and engineer companies. He was wounded in action and returned to service. He married Mary H. [Butcher] in 1944.
SGT Theodore was honorably discharged on November 1st 1945.
Mr. Theodore died on January 23rd 1980 at the age of 68 years old in Virginia, Minnesota. He is buried at Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery in Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota.
