Joseph M. Method

Joseph M. Method served during World War II in China. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

In the spring of 1944, he was promoted to the rank of Master Sergeant. He was an aircraft inspector in a heavy bombardment group with Major General Claire L. Chennault’s air force.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Method of Duluth, Minnesota.

"From a China air base comes an announcement of the promotion of Joseph M. Method, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Method, 1412 East First street, to the grade of master sergeant. The Duluthian is an aircraft inspector in a heavy bombardment group with Maj. Gen. Claire L. Chennault's air force."
