Joseph A. Leoni

Joseph A. Leoni of Gilbert, Minnesota enlisted in the Army on October 9, 1942.

He was a Staff Sergeant and duty noncommissioned officer with Company C in the 405th Infantry Regiment in Rhineland. He was wounded in action on November 30, 1944 in Germany.

Mr. Leoni received the: Silver Star Medal, Purple Heart with one Oak Leaf Cluster, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on December 10, 1945 at Camp Grant, Ill.
