He served as an Electrician’s Mate 2nd Class (T) aboard the USS Batam (AG71), USS Ajax, and USS Laertes in the Pacific Theater and at continental United States stations.

Mr. Hansen was honorably discharged January 4, 1946 at Minneapolis, Minnesota.
