Joseph J. Shusterich

Joseph J. Shusterich entered the Army Air Corps on August 10, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Aurora, Minnesota.

He served as a Staff Sergeant and armorer with the 373rd Bomb Squadron of the 48th Air Depot in the China-Burma-India Theater, Air Offensive Japan, China, and India-Burma.

He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on January 15, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
