Mr. Ranniker was awarded the: Purple Heart, Bronze Service Arrowhead, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with 6 bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and 6 overseas service bars.
He was discharged on July 27, 1945.
