Joseph I. LaMourea

Joseph I. LaMourea was inducted into the Army on July 8, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Alborn, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and railway section hand with Company A of the 770th Railway Operations Battalion in Alaska and the continental U.S.

Mr. LaMourea was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on March 22, 1945, at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana.
