Joseph Glumack was inducted into the Army Air Corps November 14, 1941. Home at entry: Kinney, Minnesota.

He served as a Private and truck driver with the 1340th Army Air Forces Base Unit in the China-Burma-India Theater.

Mr. Glumack was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged December 31, 1945, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.

He reenlisted in the Regular Army on April 15, 1946.

He served as a Private First Class and special vehicle operator in the continental United States.

He was honorably discharged September 13, 1947, at Brooke Army General Hospital, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
