Joseph George Vaydich, Jr. was born on January 21st 1925 to Joseph Sr. & Kathryn [Leopold] Vaydich in Virginia, Minnesota.
Mr. Vaydich joined the Navy on September 30th 1943. He served aboard the destroyer, U.S.S. Hopewell (DD-681) during WWII. He rose to the rank of Seaman First Class (S1)
After the war, he returned home and married Arline D. [Donnell] on August 24th 1951 and they started a family.
Mr. Vaydich died on January 15th 2000 at 74 years of age. He is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Superior, Wisconsin.
