Mr. Breen inducted into the Army Air Corps on January 15, 1942, at Camp Grant, Illinois.

He served as a Sergeant and weather observer with the 66th Army Air Forces Base Unit.

He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, one service stripe, and four overseas service bars.

Mr. Breen was honorably discharged on October 31, 1945, at Seymour Johnson Field, North Carolina.
