Joseph E. Wauzynski

Joseph E. Wauzynski was inducted into the Army on January 14, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

Mr. Wauzynski served as a Staff Sergeant and Chief of Section (radar) with Battery D of the 401st AAA in Sicily, Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, North Appennines, and Po Valley, Italy.

He was awarded the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with one silver battle star, Good Conduct Medal, one service stripe, and three overseas service bars.

Mr Wauzynski was honorably discharged on October 12, 1945, at Camp Grant, Illinois.
