Joseph E. McDonald

Joseph Edward McDonald Jr. of Gheen was inducted into the Navy on March 24, 1944.

He was a Machinist's Mate 3rd Class and served aboard the USS Hannes, USS Weber and USS Marquette in Europe and the Pacific.

Mr. McDonald received the: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with a bronze battle star, American Campaign Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was discharged on June 7, 1947.
