Awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Service Medal (Japan), two overseas service bars, and Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze battle star.
Honorably discharged November 7, 1946, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
