Mr. Anderson inducted into the Army at Fort Sheridan, Illinois on February 9, 1942.
He served in the Army Medical Corps as a clerk and first aid man at the clinic in Camp Davis, North Carolina, and at the patient receiving station hospital at Camp McKail, North Carolina.
He was honorably discharged at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on January 4, 1946.
