John W. Kantio

John W. Kantio of Angora, Minnesota was inducted into the Army Air Corps on May 1, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn. 

He was a Corporal and served as a cook with the 1040th Army Air Forces Base Unit in the China-Burma-India Theater.

Mr. Kantio received the: Good Conduct Medal, Presidental Unit Citation and the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars.

He was honorably discharged October 10, 1945 at Santa Ana, Calif.
