John W. Hull entered the Navy June 19, 1944.

He served as a Seaman 1st Class aboard the USS Wyoming and USS Eisener (DE-192) in the Pacific Theater.

He was honorably discharged March 11, 1946, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He also served as artillery Sergeant during the Korean Conflict and Radioman 3rd Class in U.S. Coast Guard in the continental United States during the postwar.

He received his last honorable discharge in 1962.
