John S. Stilinovich

John S. Stilinovich entered the Army on June 2, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and truck driver with Company I of the Third Battalion Headquarters and Service Group in Luzon, New Guinea, and Southern Philippines (Liberation).

Mr. Stilinovich was awarded the following: Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three overseas service bars, World War II Victory Medal, four overseas service bars, and Philippine Liberation Medal.

He was honorably discharged on January 22, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
