John S. Kochaver of Virginia, Minnesota, enlisted in the Army on October 4, 1946 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He was a Private First Class and a machinist with the 549th Ordnance Service Company in the continental United States.

Mr. Kochaver was awarded the World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on March 10, 1948 at Great Falls, Mont.
