John P. Hackey

John P. Hackey was inducted into the Army November 13, 1942, Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Orr, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 4th Grade and tank mechanic in Luzon.

Mr. Hackey was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and Philippine Liberation Medal.

He was honorably discharged February 5, 1946, at Camp Beale, California.
