POMEROY, John
John Pomeroy was born on February 17th 1918 to Howard & Lillian Vida [Whitcomb] Pomeroy in Mower Co., Minnesota. The family moved to Chisholm, Minnesota.
Mr. Pomeroy entered the U.S. Army on May 18th 1943.
He served as a Private (PVT) in the infantry.
PVT Pomeroy was honorably discharged on September 18th 1944, at Fort Ord, California.
Mr. Pomeroy died on November 5th 1986 at 68 years of age. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Chisholm.
