John Namisnik of Chisolm was inducted into the Army Oct. 26, 1942.

He was a Private First Class and a truck driver in Battery A of the 394th Field Artillery Battalion in Central Europe.

Mr. Namisnik received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with one bronze battle star, American Campaign Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

He was discharged on Feb. 2, 1946.
