John M. Holappa of Tower, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army Air Corps on April 16, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He was a Sergeant and airplane sheet metal worker with the 15th Base Headquarters and AB Squadron (SP) in the continental United States.

Mr. Holappa was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged October 5, 1944 at Fort Custer, Mich.
