Mr. Bukovac inducted into the Army on May 30, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
He served as a Private First Class and utility repairman with the 56th Evacuation Hospital in Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno and Apennines-Po Valley, Italy.
He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, and five overseas service bars.
Mr. Bukovac was honorably discharged on October 28, 1945. at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
