John Lipponen

John C. Lipponen of Orr, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 20, 1944.

He was a Mess Sergeant with the 21st Corps Headquarters Company in Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Lipponen received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, Army of Occupation Service Medal (Germany) and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on June 5, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
