John L. Ambrozich

John L. Ambrozich was inducted into the Army Air Corps April 28, 1942, Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Buhl, Minnesota.

He served as a Sergeant, airplane and engine mechanic with the 599th Bomb Squadron of the 397th Bomb Group in the European Theater.

Awarded: Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

Honorably discharged December 27, 1945, Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
